Our Verdict

It’s good to get a pair of trekking trousers down to this weight and still get this many pockets, articulated knees, belt etc..  with Montane quality as well. The GRANITE stretch fabric used in these pants provide a closer fit than the standard trekking pant and allows the freedom of movement that you need for climbing and mountain walking. If you want a stretchy, versatile pant that can be used for multiple activities then these are likely to be the best choice.

Montane have updated the trim and style lines to provide a more modern look to a classic pant. They have also added two concealed zipped thigh vents to help keep you cool and comfortable when the temperature rises or for when your pushing yourself to the peak.
