The Snap Zip T-Shirt is a technical, high performance trail baselayer. It utilises a zoned combination of Apex-Lite fabric, which is a super lightweight grid structure fabric that dries extremely quickly, together with super wicking bi-construction Apex-Pro fabric across the back and under the arms for extremely effective moisture management. Both fabrics are treated with POLYGIENE® permanent odour control, so the Snap series really can become your second skin.

Our Verdict

The women’s Montane’s Snap Zip T-Shirt is a little more technical than your average baselayer, and this is all down to the fabrics used. The main fabric used (Apex-Lite) moves excess moisture away from the skin to evaporate when you work up a sweat. You can see it’s micro grid construction if you look really close.

The second fabric used (Apex-Pro) is even more effective wicking in the core areas where sweat can build up and create chill, hence being positioned across the back and under the arms.

Both fabrics have been treated with Polygiene permanent odour control meaning it can be worn on multiple days without the need for washing every time.

With low profile seams, a tailored collar and a 1/4 length zip, this soft feeling baselayer could soon be a favourite for running and hiking.
