Our Verdict

Montane’s Windjammer Alpine Beanie is similar to the Windjammer Helmet Liner but with Windstopper fabric throughout instead of just the head band. The lightweight pile inner feels incredibly soft and comfortable against your skin and the sides come down far enough to cover your ears and the back of your neck to keep them warm.

It features di-cut perforations over the ears which provide protection but also allow great ability to hear through the protective fabric. No more shouting over the wind to your hiking partner…. hopefully.

The Windjammer Alpine Beanie packs down small so can easily fit in your jacket pocket, ready for your next mountain adventure.
