With an ultra slim fit, the Mode Mission Pants are more like tights than traditional pants but they have been designed to provide excellent freedom of movement. Ideal for fast and light adventures in colder conditions the stretch, weather resistant fabric has a tough CORDURA face with warm fleece backer for added protection.

With an ultra slim fit, these pants are cut to allow excellent freedom of movement for faster cold weather activities and have a close cut at the lower leg and ankle. Features include a full fly closure, belt loops and mesh lined hand pockets.

Our Verdict

Montane’s Mode Mission Pants are a fantastic close-fitting, minimalist thermal trekking pant ideal for moving at pace in cold conditions.

The pants have a tough feel but are super stretchy, they won’t restrict your movement whatever your activity. The fit is more akin to a tight than a trouser for a more streamlined look and are less likely to get snagged on rocks and the like. The fleece lined inner is soft on the skin and provides warmth.

The Mode Mission pants have 2 hand warmer pockets and ankle zips. The waist isn’t stretchy like the rest of the pants and there are belt loops provided to adjust the fit if required.
