Our Verdict

Montane’s Iridium Hybrid Fleece Pull-On turns a simple fleece into a technical workhorse. Using top quality materials this fleece provides warmth and stretch with the Pontetorto Technofleece which is given a harder face fabric so that it’s more durable. This hybrid version then uses a lighter, stretchy, quick drying fabric across the back and under the arms down to the cuffs. This shaves weight off and improves breathability without sacrificing the excellent range of movement you get from this top. These sections do let air flow through more freely so if you are not wearing a pack or shell jacket you do feel it on your back when it’s cold and windy but otherwise it helps regulate your temperature really well when you’re working hard.
