Our Verdict

Montane’s Iridium Gloves use quality Pontetorto Technostretch fleece with ceramic print to give you a soft feeling inner with a more durable outer than you’d normally expect from fleece fabrics. They provide a good level of warmth, are super comfortable and are a lot more hard wearing than many other competitors, especially so with the goat leather reinforced areas.

They are practical with a fairly snug fit the durable design that allow you to get on with plenty of tasks without needing to take them off in the cold. I’m not convinced by the touch screen compatibility, it takes a lot more effort than it should to get your finger in the right place to get it to work on your smartphone.
