Our Verdict

Montane’s Fleet Gore-Tex Cap packs down really well yet provides a huge amount of protection from the sun and rain. The lightweight design means this is a great cap to take out all the time even if it stays in your pack or pocket. The Gore-Tex Active fabric will keep the water out and maximise breathability while the internal headband helps wick sweat away when you’re working hard.

It has a pre-curved, stiffened peak which will enhance your field of vision and protect your face. The simple but effective Velcro strap to adjust the cap and reflective details at the front and back make the Fleet a great piece of kit.
