Montane says
Our Verdict
The Montane Extreme Smock is designed to be a no-nonsense ultra-tough fleece lined softshell designed to be worn next to the skin – or over a thin baselayer – in winter conditions. Without the flexibility of a layering system the Extreme Smock is designed to be vented via the chest pockets by the wearer when its considerable insulation is not fully required.
Although a heavy garment it is virtually indestructable and will therefore be first choice where reliability is of paramount importance.
