Our Verdict

Montane’s Cadenza Cap is incredibly lightweight at just 42g and offers high UV protection. It is vented on each side with mesh panels to offer greater breathability and there is a lightweight elastic band on the rear to allow for a snug fit. The peak is quite soft so it can be easily folded or rolled to keep in your pocket, and woun’t loose it’s shape when you do.

This cap is great for a range of activities from trail running to hiking, as the tiny pack size makes it an ideal piece to stuff in a rucksack for minimal weight.
